About Cameron Groen
I am a licensed marriage and family therapist in Greenville, SC, with a passion for helping clients find greater connection, acceptance, and peace. I have a specific passion for helping couples work through their difficult cycles and build a deeper and more supportive connection. In 2007, I walked out of a marriage class and quickly realized 2 things. I was totally drawn into the complexities of what makes people feel connected in relationships and I immediately knew I wanted to help couples find deeper connections.
Over time, I realized that not all therapy models offer the same results with couples. As a result, I spent significant time investing in training specifically to help couples form deeper bonds and make lasting changes in their relationship through Emotionally Focused Therapy. This training also greatly shapes my work with individuals as EFT is proven to successfully help individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship struggles.

My passion for this work is fueled by my own history of challenges, as well as my experience as a husband, father, and foster parent. I find it a privilege to walk along side others in their journey to experiencing greater peace and joy in their lives.
